The Company acts as the Controller when processing personal data and therefore determines the purposes and means of such processing itself.
2. General Information on the Processing of Personal Data
- Only authorized employees of the Company, who are bound by confidentiality and trained in data security, have access to clients’ personal data.
- A processor is an entity that processes personal data for the Company on the basis of its instructions and within the scope defined by the Company. The Company uses only processors that provide sufficient guarantees of personal data protection, either on the basis of a contract or their own declaration.
- Personal data is transmitted only in an appropriately secured form.
- The Company has assessed that it is not obliged to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 GDPR.
- The Company does not transfer clients’ personal data to third countries or international organizations.
- The Company does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
- The Company does not publish clients’ personal data and does not process them for scientific or historical research, nor for statistical purposes.
- Personal data is obtained solely and directly from the client upon its provision.
3. Which Personal Data the Company Processes, Duration and Purpose
- E-mail / chat communication – first name, surname, e-mail, IP address (for handling the request; for as long as necessary).
- Contract conclusion (purchase, buy-back, storage) – first name, surname, address, phone, e-mail (for the duration of the contract and 5 years thereafter in accordance with tax regulations).
- Identity verification upon personal collection / storage – ID number and type of ID (for the duration of the contract and 5 years thereafter). The Company does not make copies of IDs.
- Persons authorized to collect goods – first name, surname, address, phone (at the client’s request; archived for 5 years).
- Price Watch service – e-mail, phone (until the specific request is fulfilled).
- Marketing based on consent – first name, surname, e-mail (until withdrawal of consent or unsubscribing).
- Cookies – according to the client’s browser settings.
The provision of personal data is necessary for concluding a contract. Failure to provide such data may result in refusal of performance.
4. Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data
The Company processes personal data in accordance with Article 6 GDPR, on the basis of:
- Contract – processing necessary for the performance of a contract (purchase, buy-back, storage),
- Legal obligation – in particular under Act No. 253/2008 Coll., on Certain Measures against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (AML),
- Legitimate interest of the Controller – protection of property (camera system), direct marketing, cookies,
- Client’s consent – for example, sending marketing communications.
5. Legitimate Interest of the Controller
- Property protection: The Company’s premises are monitored by a camera system with recording in order to protect property and the safety of individuals. Recordings are kept for [insert actual period, e.g. 72 hours].
- Direct marketing: The Company may process the client’s e-mail address obtained when purchasing goods or services for the purpose of sending marketing communications, for no longer than 5 years after the last transaction, or until unsubscribing.
- Cookies: The Company uses technical, analytical, and advertising cookies. Clients can adjust cookies at any time via their browser or the Company’s website settings.
6. Recipients of Personal Data
Recipients are natural or legal persons to whom the Company provides data (e.g. contractual processors, carriers, IT service providers). Data is provided only in secured form.
7. Client’s Rights in Relation to Personal Data
The client has the right:
- to access their data (to obtain a copy and information about the purpose and scope of processing),
- to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- to erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”) in cases provided by law,
- to restriction of processing,
- to data portability (if the legal basis is consent or a contract and processing is automated),
- to withdraw consent at any time if consent is the legal basis,
- to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
8. Right to Object
- The client has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data on grounds of the Controller’s legitimate interest, including objections to direct marketing.
- In the case of an objection to marketing, personal data will no longer be processed for this purpose.
9. Principles of Personal Data Processing
In processing personal data, the Company applies the principles set out in Article 5 GDPR:
- lawfulness, fairness, and transparency,
- purpose limitation – data processed only for legitimate purposes,
- data minimization – only to the necessary extent,
- accuracy and timeliness,
- storage limitation,
- integrity and confidentiality – protection against misuse and unauthorized access.
10. Final Provisions
The Company is entitled to amend and supplement this Information. The new version will always be published on the Company’s website.
By submitting an order, the client acknowledges this Information and confirms that they had the opportunity to read it in advance.
