Paying by QR Code at GOLDU: How It Works
You can also pay for investment gold or silver at GOLDU by QR code directly from your mobile banking app. There is no need to type in the account number, amount or payment reference (variable symbol) by hand – just scan the code with your phone and confirm the payment.
How QR payment works at GOLDU
For every order we generate a payment QR code with pre-filled details – account number, amount and variable symbol. You will find the code on screen right after completing your order, so there is no need to print it.
Step by step
- Open your mobile banking app on your phone.
- Choose the QR payment function in the app (often right on the home screen).
- Scan the QR code straight from your computer screen – no need to print it.
- Check the pre-filled details (account, amount, variable symbol) and confirm the payment.
Which banks support QR payment
The code follows the Czech QR Platba standard, which is supported by practically every Czech bank. Banks whose mobile apps can read QR payments include, for example:
- Raiffeisenbank
- Česká spořitelna
- Komerční banka (KB)
- ČSOB
- Air Bank
- mBank
- Fio banka
- Hello bank! (Crédit Agricole)
- Banka Creditas
- ČSOB Poštovní spořitelna
- MONETA Money Bank
If your Czech bank is missing from the list, it very likely supports QR payment anyway – it is a nationwide unified standard. Whether a foreign banking app can read the Czech QR code depends on the app; if not, simply make a transfer using the details in your order. The exact steps may differ slightly between apps, but the principle – scan and confirm the pre-filled payment – is the same everywhere.
