Who is GOLDU

Behind the GOLDU® brand stands Baumann Group a.s., based in the Brumlovka building complex in Prague. We focus exclusively on physical precious metals for investment – gold and silver. We only offer new, non-circulated products, never items from buybacks. We keep our buyback and retail operations strictly separate, so you always get exactly what you're buying – in original condition and with the declared specifications.

Our team

Petra Baumann – visionary and author of the entire GOLDU project, member of the board of directors. The grey eminence in the background: she doesn’t speak the loudest, but in the end everyone still goes where she pointed.

Natálie Pokludová – without whom everything at GOLDU would grind to a halt, stop working and never get finished. While the others come up with ideas, she makes sure things actually run. Someone has to drive the car.

Adolf Baumann, analyst at Baumann Group a.s. (GOLDU), has been working with precious metals for over 30 years. He has seen euphoria, crashes and panic on the markets – and he still enjoys it. He explains in plain language what moves the price of gold and silver and how to handle them without unnecessary mistakes. His weakness? He refuses to wear a suit.

Where our products come from

We work with major global suppliers and renowned refineries and mints – such as Argor-Heraeus, PAMP, Valcambi, Münze Österreich, The Royal Mint, The Perth Mint and the Royal Canadian Mint. Selected products come from refineries listed on the LBMA Good Delivery list, a globally recognized guarantee of quality and tradability.

Buyback of investment gold

In addition to sales, we also offer buyback of investment gold at prices published in advance (we do not buy back investment silver). The buyback process is transparent, and after verifying authenticity we pay out by bank transfer.
